I am a firm believer that pets can rescue you more than you rescue them.
One of my favorite pastimes is to photograph pets in need of loving forever homes. I have found that the extra effort to capture the love they can give is more than worth it. I have had the pleasure of working with these rescues and organizations:
Denkai Animal Sanctuary, Mile High Husky Rescue, and the German Shepherd Rescue of the Rockies.
Rescue is near and dear to my heart. I have grown up with both rescue dogs and with pure-bred dogs from responsible breeders. I strongly believe those pets that have been rescued love you just a little bit more.
